How to Donate Materials
Second Edition Resale Shop and Book Sales are fundraisers for the Cedar Mill Community Libraries Association, a 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation dedicated to providing public library services. Your donations support every aspect of the library’s operations and programs. Tax ID #23-7438072.

Donating Housewares, Clothes and Other Materials
Donations for Second Edition Resale are accepted during normal business hours except during sales, closures and inventory periods.

Items We Accept
- Clothing: Women’s, men’s, children’s, baby
- Shoes, purses and bags: Women’s, men’s, children’s
- Jewelry: Fine and costume
- Housewares: Utilitarian and decorative, vintage and antique
- Small electrical items: microwaves, coffeemakers, etc. Must be in like-new working condition and have all parts
- General decor: vintage and antique
- Puzzles, toys and games: Must be in good condition and have all parts/pieces
- Bed and table linens, decorative pillows, sheet sets
- Bicycles, tricycles and wagons: Must be in good working condition
All items should be in good to new condition. Please package all donations in bags and boxes that will fit in the donation bin. Small and medium bags or boxes are ideal.

Items We Cannot Accept
- Soiled, torn, ripped, stained, moth- or rodent-eaten or pet hair-covered clothing, shoes, purses, linens or decorative pillows
- Chipped, cracked, broken or stained household and electrical items
- Items of any kind that need repair or mending
- Wedding and prom dresses; men’s suits, men’s ties
- Underwear or lingerie unless new in box
- Toy or game sets which are missing parts or pieces
- Large exercise equipment
- Building materials, door knobs, light fixtures, etc.
- Automotive parts, including tires and hub caps
- Mattresses, box springs, futons, bed frames, used bed pillows, mattress pads, weighted blankets, duvet covers
- Window coverings, blinds, shades, drapes, curtain rods
- Large appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dryers, washers, freezers, etc.
- Baby equipment, including but not limited to: car seats, swings, cribs, high chairs, port-a-cribs, walkers, bouncy seats, strollers/perambulators, jumpers, play pens, backpacks
- Helmets of any kind: bike, lacrosse, football, skating, rock climbing, motorcycle, etc.
- Cleated sports shoes of any kind: baseball, football, soccer, etc.
- Chemicals, including, but not limited to: flammable chemicals, paint, lamp fuel, furniture refinishing products, pet items
- Older technology: analog TVs, desktop computers, monitors, printers, fax, VHS tapes, cassettes
- Pet equipment and supplies: Beds, clothing, carriers, leashes, collars, flea powder, food dishes, toys, etc.
