“When I got my library card, that’s when my life began.” – Rita Mae Brown
Thank you for your interest in obtaining a library card at Cedar Mill and Bethany Community Libraries. This card gives you access to over 2 million books, movies, audiobooks, music, information and more through your local libraries.
Your library card entitles you to use all the public libraries in Washington County as a member of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS), as well as access to libraries around the country through our interlibrary loan service. Library cards are free to all residents of Washington, Multnomah, Clackamas and Hood River counties in Oregon or in the Fort Vancouver Regional Library District or the City of Camas in Washington.
Get started today!
Fill out an application and visit the library with a photo ID plus something with your current residence address on it, such as a driver’s license, mail addressed to you, utility bill or rental agreement.
Don’t have a card yet, but want to access services such as e-books, cultural passes, and online resources? Washington County residents can apply online. E-access cards can be converted to full access cards by visiting the library with appropriate ID and a print application (PDF).
