A Very Special Request
Thank you for helping to make discovery possible at your community libraries!
The goal of this year’s Kids’ Library Fundraiser is very special. We are asking for your help to add Discovery Activity Tables to the Youth Services areas at Cedar Mill and Bethany Community Libraries.
Activity tables are a great way to engage with play-based learning at the libraries. They provide interactive spaces where young children can practice fine-motor 
skills, social-emotional learning, problem solving, and group play. Discovery Tables are self-contained activity centers with distinct play surfaces and a modular design. They offer flexibility, sturdy construction, storage, and unique play experiences for our young learners. These tables will allow us to update our kids’ areas at both libraries and highlight the importance of early literacy skills through play.
CMBCL would like to purchase two tables, one for each location and you can help make these additions possible!
Cost for two tables: $8,600. Make your gift by December 31. Thank you!
You may also donate at the front desk at Cedar Mill Library or Bethany Library.
To donate by check, please make your check payable to Cedar Mill Community Library and don’t forget to write “Kids’ Fundraiser” in the memo. Deliver or mail your check to 1080 SW Saltzman RD Portland, OR 97229 or drop your gift off at either Cedar Mill Library or Bethany Library.
