Cedar Mill & Bethany Community Libraries stand against racism in all of its forms. The recent killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and so many others are part of America’s long history of injustices to Black and Brown people. Our libraries support and welcome all members of our community and we are committed to providing a safe space and access to our services and materials for everyone.  Reading, listening and learning expand our understanding of the world and are important steps towards achieving racial equity and justice. The Library Board and Staff will continue to provide a wide range of library materials to better understand and educate ourselves and our community about racism.
