School of Rocks
Welcome back to school! This month, the Nature Mobile is all about rocks, volcanoes and geology. Use magnifying lenses to look closely at the many different kinds of rocks and learn how they are formed.

Frozen Fur, Fat and Feathers
Fall is ending and the forest is getting ready for winter. Animals prepare in many ways. Examine how fur, fat and feathers help different animals stay warm in different temperatures using our arctic plunge tank and observe the coats of local animals.

May the Forest be with You
Calling all nature-loving Wookies and Ewoks! This month’s theme is all about the force of the forest, focusing on life cycles and how they intertwine, examining trees over 100 years old. Learn how the smallest creatures in the forest contribute to the lives of humans and how we can affect the forest in a positive way. The force is strong with us!
