Young readers can practice reading skills and make a new friend!

Does your school age child need to grow their reading skills? Read to the Dogs is a partnership with Dove Lewis PACCT and Bethany & Cedar Mill Libraries.  Our dog teams miss seeing you at the library, but we are offering new virtual sessions this year.

Read to the Dogs allows school age children who are beginning or struggling readers to develop their reading skills in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. During a virtual 15 minute session, your child has an opportunity to practice reading aloud to a trained therapy dog.

This program has virtual openings on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 pm. Each session is 15 minutes, limit to 1 session/week.
