With the start of a new year, maybe it’s time to encourage some healthy habits with your kids. Yoga can help kids manage stress, build concentration, promote body awareness, and other benefits. Learning to be mindful is part of a good yoga practice (and life skill). I’ve seen several great resources in the library lately for those interested in yoga and mindfulness/meditation with young kids.  I’ve even successfully used Kira Willey’s short “mindful moments” exercises in my preschool storytime.
