When children struggle to cope with daily living, social situations, stress, and other issues such as anxiety, it’s helpful to have resources to support them in navigating their emotions and improve mental well-being. Your library offers many free materials on a variety of subjects to support your child’s mental health, from emotional regulation, to stress management, anxiety, and more!

Join us for an upcoming online presentation for adults on Supporting Youth Mental Health on Wed, April 17 with Allan Cordova, Licensed Psychologist. Explore what’s known (and what isn’t) about how youth mental health was impacted and evolved throughout the covid pandemic, and to what extent covid “after-shocks” are still happening. This talk will discuss foundations and principles of mental well-being and emotion regulation, and focus on solutions and practical tips for parents.

While applicable across different developmental levels, this presentation focuses on parents of upper elementary and middle school age students. Registration is required, and there will be an opportunity for Q& A.  REGISTER NOW
