As we wrap up the year, staff members wanted to share the best children’s books and other youth materials we discovered and delighted in this year. Most are published in 2022, some are 1-2 years older, but all were enjoyed this year. Cedar Mill Staff Picks for Teens 2022

Want to share the joy of reading and help those in need this month? Join our Winter Reading Challenge! Everyone can participate, including being read to. Time spent reading and doing activities will help raise funds for the Oregon Food Bank.

  1. Pick up a paper log (PDF), log into our Beanstack app, or log online at librarycedarmill.beanstack.com.
  2. Read and do activities on the bingo card. Complete a row, column or diagonal to get a bingo, or complete all squares for a blackout.
  3. Return paper bingo cards to the library by December 31. Every hour read equals a 10 cent donation and every activity completed equals a 25 cent donation to the Oregon Food Bank up to $1,000.
