We publish some practice questions for grades 3-5 in September, and share the rest after our winter trivia events to support OBOB participation.

How can I get the OBOB books?
We purchase multiple copies of each OBOB title. Place holds on all the titles you need. Some audiobook versions are available on CD or Playaway. Many are available as ebooks and eaudiobooks on OverDrive/Libby.
Do you offer OBOB events?
We offer trivia sessions for grades 6-8 in December and Battle Royale events for grades 3-5 in early January.
Do you write questions for each division?
Every year we offer unofficial practice questions for grades 3-5. Most years we are able to offer questions for grades 6-8.
When are your questions available to the public?
We publish some practice questions for grades 3-5 in September. We share the rest after our winter events.
Where can I see examples of battles?
Battles from the 2025 State Tournament are available online. DVDs from some previous years are available for checkout.
