Do you have a 4 or 5 year old? Drop by the library each week and grab our take-home activity to help prepare your child for kindergarten. Have fun making this Counting Dinosaur! Have your child cut out the dinosaur. Next, number ten clothespins from 1 to 10.  Have child put the “spines” on the dino’s back in order from 1 to 10.

Skills your child is developing:
Recognizing numbers
Putting numbers in sequence.
Fine motor skills (needed for writing) as your child pinches the clothes pins and uses scissors.

Don’t have time to come to the library?
