One Book, One Coast – May 2026
Thank you for joining your community in the largest book club on the West Coast! Libraries across Oregon, Washington and California connected patrons to read and discuss the graphic novel “They Called Us Enemy” by George Takei.
Winter Reading – Cozy Up and Read!
December-January 2026
Our community read so much this winter we blew past our community goal to read 1,000 books together. We all read 2,237 books! Additionally, 334 activities were completed on the online tracking app Beanstack. Congratulations to Sam N. and Diksha P., who won the prize drawings for local gift cards.
Ongoing Challenges
9th-12th Graders: Take the 100 books Before Graduation challenge! Keep track of your reading in Beanstack and stay on track to read 100 books before you graduate. You can earn badges while you track or challenge friends in the Beanstack tracker app.
