Read to the Dogs @ Bethany Library

Read to the Dogs is a program that pairs young readers with trained dog-and-handler teams. This program helps children develop their reading skills in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. Reservations are Required. To register, drop by or call the Bethany Branch at (503) 617-7323. Due to the popularity of this program, we ask that you please sign up for a maximum of one 30-minute session per quarter.

Fun For Ones @ Bethany Library

Early Literacy skills start with songs, rhymes, books and action for walkers and an adult. Every Tuesday from 9:30 – 10:00 am before the library opens, January 16 – March 13 and April 3 – May 15.The library doors will be open ONLY from 9:20 to 9:40 am, so please arrive on time. We will not be able to admit anyone after 9:40.Held in the Children’s Area in the library.
