Teen Book Review: Geekerella

Geekerella, by Ashley Poston is about a girl named Elle Wittimer, a total fan of the tv show Starfield. She hears about the cosplay contest at ExcelsiCon, in honor of the new Starfield movie coming out. The winner gets an invitation to the ExcelsiCon Cosplay Ball, and the winner gets to meet Darien Freeman, the actor who play Prince Carmindor in Starfield. Elle is determined to win the cosplay contest, but runs into a little problem when she learns that her sisters are also entering, just to try and meet Darien Freeman.
