Thank you for your interest in obtaining a library card at the Cedar Mill Community Libraries. This card gives you access to over 2 million books, movies, audiobooks, music, information and more through your local libraries.

Your library card entitles you to use all the public libraries in Washington County as a member of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services (WCCLS), as well as access to libraries around the country through our interlibrary loan service.

The Passport Program provides limited access to WCCLS libraries and materials must be checked out and returned to a WCCLS library (your home library will not return them for you). Limited access includes: up to 10 checkouts at a time, up to 10 holds, no interlibrary loans and the card is good for one year (you may renew).

To get a free library card through the Oregon Passport Program, you will need:

  • Your library card from a participating Oregon library.

Library cards can be issued to anyone regardless of age. Children from birth to age 10 need to apply for a library card with their parent/guardian or bring an application signed by their parent, copy of parent’s photo ID and proof of address. Children 10 and older may apply with their own ID, such as a school ID card, and proof of address or apply with their parent’s ID and proof of address.
