Ulysses the squirrel makes an unplanned trip through a vacuum cleaner and comes out the other end a changed mammal. Flora Belle Buckman is the little girl who rescues him and discovers that Ulysses can fly and write poetry after his “accident”. Flora has her own problems after her parents’ divorce and Ulysses becomes a true friend. But what will happen when Flora’s mom wants the squirrel gone?

Oregon Children’s Theatre present the world premiere of the play based on Kate DiCamillo’s Newbery award winning book, from February 27- March 26 at the Winningstad Theatre. For ages 7 and up.
