Teen Book Discussions

Our Teen Library Council is conducting book discussions after some of their meetings on the second Monday of the month.  We record these discussions and post them on our podcast page.  The members read and discuss newly released teen books and weigh in on what the books were about and whether they liked the story among other topics.  Listen to them here.

Check out our teen book blog Words of Wiser

Want to find out what new YA books have arrived?  Want to know about contests for teens?  Like to read book reviews by and for teens?  Take a look at our teen blog, Words of Wiser, for all this information and more.  Comments are encouraged and reviewed, so weigh in on your favorite (or not so favorite) books. http://wordsofwiser.wordpress.com

About Our Podcasts

We have recorded a variety of podcasts with teens - from book discussions at Stoller Middle School to Oral History Interviews between Sunset High students and recent immigrants. Our own Teen Library Council has also recorded several book discussions. We would like to thank teachers Catherine Geddry-Pierce and John Wickham at Stoller and Matt Hiefield and Charlie Johnson at Sunset High for making these recordings possible. We are recording new interviews and discussion all the time, so check back in to see what's new!

CMCL uses LibSyn and the The Internet Archive as hosts, and these podcasts are in the public domain. Thanks for listening!
