RSS Feeds @ CMCL
RSS means "Really Simple Syndication" and offers library users a chance to receive updates on their favorite programs, new books, library news and more. The CMCL site now offers feeds for events, news, and book reviews.
What is RSS? What's a "feed"? How do I get them?
Are there a lot of sites you like to visit, but get tired clicking on every one each day? Or, is there a site where you want to know all the changes or news that is posted there? RSS is an online tool that makes content from web sites and other sources easy to keep up with. All you need is to have a tool called a "newsreader" and a "feed". You can use a newsreader that's free and on the web, like Bloglines, Google Reader, or Newsgator. For more details on RSS feeds, check out How and Why to Use RSS Feeds (including a 3 minute YouTube video, "RSS In Plain English").
